Quick MeloScore Terms of Use
This English version is a translation provided for convenience. If it differs from the Japanese version, the Japanese version prevails.
Quick MeloScore (the “Service”) is a tool that creates draft vocal melody scores from MIDI. For now, no sign-in is required and every feature is free. Automatically generated results are not guaranteed to be finished or delivery-ready scores.
What the Service does
Users can process MIDI and lyrics on their own device, edit the score, and export it as JSON, as a printout, or as a PDF. Automatic detection of the key, note values, shuffle, lyric placement, and similar items is an estimate. Users should check the content before exporting or sharing it.
Pricing and future plans
There is currently no account registration, and every feature is free. We are considering making the Service a paid monthly service in the future. Pricing and timing are undecided. When plans are firm, we will announce them in the Service and in these Terms. The disclosures required under Japan’s Act on Specified Commercial Transactions will be published when billing begins.
Ads and affiliate links
The Service may display ads or affiliate links. We label them “Ad” or “PR” near the link. Products and services on linked sites are not features of the Service, and any purchase or application is a contract between the user and the linked party. With affiliate links, the operator may receive a referral fee when a user signs up through the link.
Rights to materials
Users are responsible for confirming that they have the right to use any MIDI, lyrics, or other data they upload. The Service does not grant any copyright permission. The rights in the original song and data continue to apply to any use of scores generated with the Service.
Automatic analysis
Key, note values, lyric assignment, and similar results are estimates. Users should check the content before exporting or sharing it.
Data storage
Currently, projects are saved as JSON on the user’s device. We do not store score data on our servers. Work that was not saved cannot be recovered. A future update may be unable to open older JSON files. PDFs are for checking only and do not serve as an editable backup.
Prohibited conduct
Using data that infringes the rights of others, interfering with the Service, and unauthorized access are prohibited.
Disclaimer
To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited for errors in generated results, loss of data, and rights disputes with third parties. Where paid terms apply, the separately presented pricing terms govern.
Changes to these Terms
If we change these Terms, we will update the revision date on this page. We will also announce important changes in the Service.
